- Un chat de plus de 10 mois, concoure en "classe ouverte " ou "classe neutre ", il doit obtenir 3 Certificats d'aptitude au Championnat (C.A.C.) ou 3 Certificats d'aptitude au Prémiorat (C.A.P.) pour devenir Champion ou "Prémior " et concourir ensuite en classe "champion " ou "Prémior ".
- Un champion ou Prémior doit obtenir 3 Certificats d'Aptitude au Championnat international de Beauté (C.A.C.I.B) ou obtenir 3 Certificats d'Aptitude au Prémiorat international de Beauté (C.A.P.I.B.) dans deux pays différents et par trois juges différents pour devenir Champion International ou Prémior international.
- Un champion international ou Prémior international doit obtenir 6 Certificats d'Aptitude au Grand Championnat International (C.A.G.C.I.) ou 6 Certificats d'Aptitude au Grand Prémiorat International (C.A.G.P.I.) dans trois pays différents et par trois juges différents pour devenir Grand Champion International ou Grand Prémior International.
- Un Grand Champion International ou Grand Prémior International qui obtient 9 Certificats d'Aptitude au Championnat d'Europe (C.A.C.E.) ou 9 Certificats d'Aptitude au Prémiorat d'Europe (C.A.P.E.) dans trois pays différents et par trois juges différents devient Champion d'Europe ou Prémior d'Europe.
Les chats de maison ne répondent à aucun standard, ils sont jugés sur leur look et leur caractère. Ils concourent uniquement pour le "best chat de maison ".

Nausicaa du Val aux biches, femelle européenne de 2 ans, black blotched tabby, a déjà obtenu 2 CAC. Elle va concourir :
- dans le groupe III
- en race "européen "
- en classe ouverte
